W~S, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California~ described as follows:
The R ½ of Lots 12 and 15, Oran§ewood Tract as per map thereof recorded in Book 7,
at Pages 32 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, except those
portions thereof included within Tract No. 2691, City of Anaheim, Count7 of Orange,
State of California as per map recorded in Book 7~.pages 47 and 48 of Miscellaneous
Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said County.

Cleo M. Clark, Lew St., Anaheim, Calif., Dorothy A. Rohsn, Lewis St., Anaheim,

and Natalie Boorey, 13431 Simmons Ave., Anaheim, Calif., requast that their above
properties be reclassified from R-A, Residential Agricultural, to R-3, Multiple
Family Res .~ent ial.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said V~RIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F- 57-58-13 on the 14th day of 0ctober, , 1957 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANA~EIMMUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all --~ - ~
~nd reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following fac%s:
1. The above property is located across the street from the rear of Melrose
Abbey.
2. The R-3 will act as a buffer between the Abbey and the R-1 dwellings to the w~st.
NCW, T~/~EFORE, BE IT PJESOLVED THAT T~E ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING C0~P~ISSION
.HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF IRE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-57-58-13 be approved, sub~ect to the deeding to the City of Anaheim of 32
feet from the centerline of Lewis Street for street widening.
