A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY FLAN~ING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
GI~I~ VARIANCB NO. 891.
WHEREAS, The City Pl-~tng Com=~ission of the City of Ax~eim has received
a Verified Petition from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
1228, 1236, 1238, 1234, and 1240 South Sta~ton Ave., Anaheim, Calif.
Applicant - MRS. JAY DR ABROND, 1238 Stanton, Anaheim.
WHF-i~-,AS, The City Pl-m-ing Commission did hold a Public Hearing at
City Hall in the Ci%y of Anaheim, on January 6, 1958. NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the. ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspec%ion, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered a~ said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1j These stores sit well track from Highway 39, so that a sign is necessary to
call attention to the public of the goods .',nd services for sale·
2. There are other signs advertising commercial uses along Stanton Aveaue.
3. The granting of the variance should not be detrimental to other properties
in the area.

~IE~EBY G~S V~C~ NO. 891 PO~ A I~M~NT SIGN, subject to:
1. The improving of the parking in front after improvements are established.
2. The size and design of sign to be subject to code requirements of the
Building Department ·
