~NTING VARIANC~ NO, 896,
WHEREAS, The City Pl-n~ing Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified PetitiQn from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The southwest corner of Dale Street and Ball Road.
Applicant -RRYNOLD~MOVI~ CONSTRUCTION CO., 82203 Ball Road, A~naheim.
WHEREAS, The City P1sn~ing Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on January 6, 195S, NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were dulygiven as required by law and the provisions of the ATL~SEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investi.~ation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1. This tract is located on the boundary line betw~enAnaheim and Stanton, butthe
tract is in Stanton.
2. The tract is located 660 feet south of Ball Rd. on the west side o£ Dale Avenue
andcontains 81 dwellings.
3. Ball Road is a heavily travelled Road, but Dale Avenue south of Bali "cad does
not carry any, traffic load of consequence, so that the subdivider mu~ turn
traffic at Ball Rd. to his tract. *
NOW, T~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY P~IN~ COMMISSION
HEREBY ~S VARIANCE,NO. 896 F<RA T~MI~RARY DIRECTIONAL SIGN, subject to the
nine conditions established by the City COuncil for such directional signs.
· 4. While this tract is not in the City of ~naheim, it is conceivable that the
residents could do considerable of their trading in~naheim.
5. ~hile in the County, there was a sign at this location directing traf,ic
to another tract in Stanton.
