GRANTING VARIANCe. NO_ ~O~
WHEREAS, The Ci%yP]-nn~ug Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verifled Petition from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real property situated
inthe City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lying between Ia PaN_ma Avenue and Greenleaf Avenue on the west side of Magnolia
Avenue, approx/mateiy 400 feet south of La Palma Avenue.
Magnolia Drug, 1003 North Magnolia Avenue, A.uaheim, Calif. (Applicant)
WHEREAS, The City Pl-n-ing Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim. on - _ ~ .... NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as required bylaw and the provisions of the ANANRIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
W~TbEAS, Said Commission. after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf and after dueconsideratien of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearing. does find and determine the following facts:
1. Adrug store is primarily a service business for the purpose of £illing pree-
criptions.
2. It wou/d appearthat such a sign would call attention this service, ~hich at
times may be necessary in a hurry.
3, The granting of this sign only 2~ feet wide by 16 feet high should not be
detrimental to other properties in the area.
4. The sign will be shut o£f when the store is closed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT TRE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY G~S VARIANCB NO. 902 FOR A DRUG~TOR~ SIGN 2½ 1~ BY 16 PEET.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 20th day of
