RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OFAN~E. IM THAT RECLASSIFICATION

WP~EAS, The City Planning Com~ssion of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property si%ua%ed
in the City of A~aheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Tract No. 2872 located just south of the Riverside Freeway on the ~ast side of
Acacia Street and contadns 18 lots.
The applicant, Herman H. Tolkan, 1253 No. Laurel Drive, Hollywood, California,
as o~ner, A. R. McDaniels, as Authorized A§ent and ~ngineer, request that the
abowe tract be reclassified from R-A, ~esidential ~Agricultur~i,
to R-l, Single F~mil~ Residential on Lots Nos. 1 and 18, and R-3 on balance of
property.
Ww~EAS, The City Pl-~ing Commission did hold a Public Nearing at l~he
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-$~-$8-34 onthe Srd day of Pebruary , 195S , NOTICE of which said
l~-,blic Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
W~EREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. A Reclassification was denied for this property under No. P-56-57-66 by the
Planning Commission and the City Council.
2. The subdivider has now revised the map and proposes to leave lots 1 and 18 as
a buffer from the single family residential across[ the street.

4. There were objections filed by residents in the area, but the ~-ngineer testified
that after conversations with these people re~ardin~ the above proposed changes,
they were satisfied.
