A RESOLUTION OF TI~ CITY PLANNING COMNISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
GR~NTING VARIANC~ NO. 936.
~JTEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, Countyof Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lot 28 of Tract No. 403, in the county of Orange, state of California, as per map
recorded in book 16 page 11 of ~iscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the county
recorder of said county. P_~XC~PT the North 36 feet thereof as conveyed To the state
of California, by deed recorded June 1, 1955, in book 3087 page 321, Official
Records, ~_ud as ~mended by deed recorded OctDber 13, 1955, in book 3246 page 53,
Official Records.
Applicant: H. G. and Pi A. Duke, 3825 Matron Ave., Long Beach, Calif.
WHEREAS,: The City Pl-nning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on March 17, 1958, NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as required bylaw and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf and at%er due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The property is located on Lincoln Avenue, and at present is undeveloped and
unsightly,
2. It is not Suitable for residential use.
3. Small neighborhood stores, such:as requested, a Barber Shop, and similar uses
should not be detrimental to other properties in the area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLAB/;ING COMNISSION
REREBY GRAI~TS VARIANCE NO. 936 ~OR CONSTRUCTION AND LEASE OF 3 STOR~S, SUBJBCTTO:
.... 1. The building line setback to be 35 feet from the property line.
2. The off-street parking areas to be black topped.
3. A rendering of the elevation of the proposed building to be furnished to the
Planning.Department before the variance is reviewed by the City Council.
