A RE$0LUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING C0~ISSION 0FTHE CITY OF ANAHEIM
GRANTINGVARIANCENO. 941.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the Owner(s)of a certain parcel of real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California. described as follows:
Al/ that certain land situated in the S~ate of California, County ef Orange, City of
Anaheim, described as follows: The West 5 acres of the North 18 acres of the E~sr 30 acrcs
of the N~ o£ the NW~ of Section 13, T4S, RllW, S.B.B. & M, Excepting therefrom the
North 66 feet, ~nd further described as 8332 East Lincoln Ave.
Applicant: Peter & Stella Turner~ 1520 Lincoln Ave., Anaheim, Calif.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City 'Hall in the City of Anaheim, on April 7, 1958, NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as required bT law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
NUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The applicant proposes to use this property for the Sales and Service of Tractors
manufactured by. the J. I. Case Co.
2. This use of the property would be similar to other Variances granted for comne rcial
uses on Lincoln Avenue.
3. Although the plans show the standard 35 foot set-back required for Lincoln Avenue~
the applicant proposes to place the building 100 feet back of the property linc and
landscape this area. * (Item 4)
NOW, TNEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIN CITY PLANNING C0NNISSION
HE~dgBY GRA/hrfS VARIANCE NO. 941 for operation of a tractor sales and service, subject to:
1. The placing of the building 100 feet back of the property line and suitable
lm:ldscaping in this area.
2. The erection of a 6 foot masonry wall To protect the chicken ranck to the Bast,
wherever the operation adjoins the hhicken runs.
3. The erection of the building in accordance with the plans presented
· Item 4. This use of the land should not be detrimental to other properties in the area.
