PC 1957-1958-226 ~"~OLUTION NO. 226 - SERIES A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIN GRANTING VARIANC~ NO. 945, WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a Verified Petition from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: The Northwesterly 100 feet of the Southwesterly 1S9 feet of the following described land: That portion of Lot 25, Anaheim Extension, as shown on a ~ap of survey made by William Hamel, on file in the office of the County Recorder of Los An§else County, California, described as follows: Beginning a~ the centerline of Olive and Broad Streets (Vermont St.)~ thence runnin§ Westerly along the said line of Broad Street, 22 rods and ll feet for a starting point; thence ru~n~ng Southerly at right angles 8.39 chains; thence running Westerly a~ a right angle =o the centerline of Los Angeles St., thence Northerly 'at a right angle along the centerline of Los Angeles St. to thc centerline of Broad St., thence running W-as~erly a~ a right ankle along the centerline ~ -~'~-~ WHEREAS, The 3ity Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on April 7, 1958, NOTICES of which said Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and %he provisions of the A/~ANEIM MUS'ICIPAL CODE, Section 9ZO0; and WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts: 1.This is au older residence that could by proper reconversmon inside be made into this type of resraur~t. 2. Los Angeles St. *'6. A petition was filed signed by 35 residents in the area protesting the granting of this variance. 7. The spokesman for the group stated that they knew that this corner would be mercia/ but that they were objecting to this specific use on the grounds that the closing hours would not be complied with; however the Commission considered this as THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this ( a good use for 7th day of April, 1958.
