A RESOLUTION OF THE 0ITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
GRANTING VARIANCB NO. 973.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follews:
Seginning at a point on the Northerly line of Vineyard Lo~ H-6, as shown on a map
thereof recorded in vook 4, pages 629 and 630, Deeds, records of Los Angeles County,
California, at a point thereon which is l0 feet Westerly along said line from the
Northeasterly corner of said lot; thence Southeasterly parallel with the monumented
centerline of South Palm Street, 130.75 feet; thence Southweste~!y parallel with the
Nortl]erly line of said lot, 110 feet; thence Northwesterly para..lei with said center-
line of South Palm Street, 1~0.75 feet to the Northerl$ line of said lot; thence North-
easterly along said Northerly line, ll0 feet to the point of beginning.

WHEREAS, The City ~ann~ng uomm~ss~on did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on June 2, 1958, NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as required by'law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9~00; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearing, does find and detsrmine the following facts:
1. This building sets back from the street and a sign against the building would
not have enough visibilizy to call attention to the Pharmacy.
2. The placing of this sign on the roof cave line should not be detriment al ~o other
properties in the area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING CONNISSION
HEREBY GRANTS VARIANCB NO. 973 FOR A NHON SIGN, subject to shutting the sign off
when the Pharmacy is closed.
