Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and ~he provisions of ~he
ANSN~.IM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section ~200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies

1. A~i of these properties in this area requessted R-3 ~niug some two years ago, bur
before final reclassification withdrew-as they did not care to dedicate l~n4 for
street widening before development.
2. This request possibly should have been acted upon as -- variance, but in view
of the fact that the area was previously recommended for R-3, the Commission
went ahead on the rezon~g of this one lot.
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT TEE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO T~E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION

The West 80.00 feet of the East 263.00 feet of the North 129.00 feet (meas~red along
the Northerly and ~-asterly lines respectively) of those port.ns of lots 9 and 10 of
the MEL~s Rancho, i~ the city of Anaheim, county of Orange, State of C~liforn/a, as
shown on the map thereof recorded in book 4, pa~e 7 of Miscellaneous Mpas, records
of said Orange County, bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a point in
the centerline of the unnamed ro~d shown on said map adjoining said Lots 9 and 10
on the North and known as Romneya DriYe, distant thereon South 89° 43· 20" West
328.98 feet from the intersection of said centerline with the northerly 9rolougation
of the easterly line of said lot 10, said point of beginning being the intersection
of said centerline with the easterly line or the northerly prolongation thereof, of
the tract of land described in the deed dated July 10, 1942, executed by Bank of
America National Trust and Savings Association, in fawor of David Corderman and
