A'RES0LUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF 'ANAHEIM
GRANTING VARIANCB NO. 1056
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real property situated
in the 9ity of Anaheim, County of Orangs, State of California, described as follows:
Lots 31, 32, 33, 34, 35,36, Block 3, Sul~er£ield & Oppenheimerts Subdivision,
and furtller described as 1233-1253. Lincoln Avenue.
Vernon Prederick and L. R. ~rederick, 5602 Van Buren, Yorba Linda, California,
applicants.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on November 17, 1958, NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
· MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9R00; and
WHEREAS, Said. Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1. These stores are set back 60 feet from Lincoln Avenue and it is proposed to
erect 3 signs for the nine store's.
2. The frontage on Lincoln Avenue is 150 feet so there would be one sign for
each 50 feet.
3. Other buildings in the area obscure the approach to these stores so the
signs are felt to be nece~sazy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY 'PLANNIN~ COMMISSION
HEREBY GRAATS VARI~C~ NO. 105~, subject to:
1. The preparation of street improvemen~ plans and install all in~rovements in
accordance with approved Standard Plans in the Office of the City ~ngineer.
2. The payment of $2.00 per front foot for street lighting purposes.
3. That the above conditions be completed, within 90 days.
