A. RESOLUiION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION

WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as fellows:
A piece of land located at the Southeast corner of North Citron Street and La
Palma Avenue 150 feet in depth along the east side of Nor~l Citron Street and
extending 150 fee~ along LaP2lma Avenue.
The applicant, Dr. E. H. Kersten, 200 North p-lm Street, Anaheim, California
requests that the Parking-La~dscaping restrictions on Citron Street be lifted and
that the corner of West La PalmaAvenue and North Citron Street be reclassified
to C-3, HEAVY COMMERCIAL to permit the erection of a service station.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-58-59-32 on the 17th day of November , 1958 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The Commission recommended that no action be taken on the Parking-Landscaping
restrictions on North Citron Street as these were imposed by the City Council
and could only be changed by the City Council, where they are included in
Deed Restrictions.
2. Protests were received from residents in the area with reference to the
service station.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F- 58-59-32 be denied for the use of the Southeast corner of West La Palma
Avenue and North Citron Street for a Service Station.
