RECOMMEI~ING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION

WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of ~n-beimhas received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain ~'eal property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cal~fornia, described as follows:
The East Half of the West Half of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter
of Section 18, Township n South, Range lO West, S. B. B. & M. in the Rancho Los
Coyotes, County of Orange, State of California. EXCEPT THEREFROM the South
782.29 feet thereof. Also except any portion thereof included within Tract
No. 2062, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 72, pages 3 and 4 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California. Also except therefrom'the
Northerly 226.30 feet of the Easterly 299.0 feet, and further descrioed as the
wes~ side of Velare Stree~ ketween Orange Avanue and ClearLrook Lane ~e

TO R-3, MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL.
WHEREAS, The City Pl-nning Commission did hold a Public Hearing a% %he
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said V~,-~RIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO, F- 58-59-40 on the 1st day of December , 1958 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9~00; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due considsra%ion of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The property to be reclassified is directory South of the Gospel Crusaders
Church site.
2. The property is £asterly from the site of. th,'~ St. Paul's Presbyterian Church.
The property to the South is presently in the R-A, ReSidential ^u~icultural
zone with chicken ranches etc.
~. The property to the East is developed with Single-Family homes.
5. No one appeared in opposltion to the reclassification and the Gospel Crusaders
stated they found the $inple f~mily residents in favor of the reclassification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F- 58-59-40 be Approved, Subject ~o:

1. Dedication of rich~ of way on Velare Street.
2. Prepare street improvement plans, etc.
3. Payment $2.00 per fron~ foot for Street lightin~ purposes.
