W~EREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in ~he City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lot 231 of Tract No. 2377 in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State o£
Calif ornia.
The applicant, J. R. SCHOLZ, as Owner, Leonard Smith, /25-D South Claudine Street,
Anaheim, California, as Authorized Agent, request that the above property be
reclassified from C-1, Neighborhood Commercial to C-2, ~neral Commercial to
permit the installation of a Cock-tail Bar in connection with a restaurant.
WR]~REAS, ~__~ City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERI~LED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-$8-59-12 on ~he 8th day of S~ptember , 1958 , NOTICE of which said
Public Nearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAheIM MYRICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due insD~.,,~.tion, investigation and studies
made by itself an~ in its behalf, and afta~-' ~:,'. consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does ?'£nd and determine the following facts:
~7 The ~lann/ng Commission granted a Varism.~e for this use, but the City Council
denied same.
2) This reclassification was thereupon filed ~u order that it be considered as a
permitted use in the zone, rather than a non-con~orm~ .... -~:'~ := would b=

3) A petition with 20 signatures of ~roper~y o~ners in the area signed iu favor
of granting the reclassification.
