GRANTING VRRIANCE NO. 1028
WHEREAS, The City Planning commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real proper~y situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
NH~, SE~, SW~ of Section 22, T4S,.R10W, S.B.B.& M. EXCEPT
South 250 feet, and further described as 1401 South Harbor.
Boulevard.
Applicant: George G. Gregory and B~rthal Gregory,'102t S; E1Molino Ave, Pasadena, Calif.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission-did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on Sop!ember 22, 1958N02ICES of'which said
· Public Hearing were duly given as required/b~ law and the provisions of the. ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made. by itself and in its behalf and after duo'consideration of ail evidence and
.... reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine'the following facts:
1. This~is the site off'the proposed Holiday Motel which n~ever materialized on property
' ~ originally owned by George £aston on the. east side of Harbor Boulevard.
i 2. The plans show 'an attractive Motel', Restaurant with a Cocktail Bar.
. 3. The granting of the Variance should not be detrimental to other properties in the area.
4'. The granting of the Variance would give the same property right enjoyed by others in
the area. '
5. The granting.of the'Variance wo~ld not adversely affect the'Comprehensive General Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE'IT RESOLVED THAT THE.ANAHEIM CITYPLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY GRANTS,VARIANCE NO. '1028, SUBJECT TO:
.. 't. The dedication of 60 feet 'fr'om the cen~er line of Harbor Blvd. to the City of Anaheim
fo~ s~reet widenin9.
2. The preparation of improvement'plans and the installation of'all improvements as
required by:the City Engineer.
3. Dedication and improvement plans to be completed within 90 days.
4. Erection of building essentially in conformity with plans presented.
