WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City o£ Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The West half ®f the West half ef the Seuthwest quarter ef 'the Seuthwest quarter o£
Sectien 12, T4S, RllW, S.B.B. & M. except the seutherly 609.52 feet thereof. Also
e×cept that p®rti®n described in e Deed te the Stste ef Califernia for road purposes.
The applicant, LYDIA R. DAVIS, 8852 Stanton Avenue, Anaheim, Calif®rnia, as Owner,
M. I. Richm,nd, 5302 Daggett Street, Leng Beach, Califernia, as Authorized Agent
request 'that the subject preperty be reclassified frem R-A, RESIDENTIA~AGRICULTURAL
to C-3, HHAVY CON~V~RCIAL.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of' Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-5@-59-80 on the 20th day of April , 1959 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. This land was a gravel pit until 1950 then was filled with rotary mud until
1953 and ruble and dirt have been purchased to fill and at present time is
one half filled.
2. The property in the opinion of the Commission is not suitable at the present
time for the erection of buildings.
3. No plan was presented to cever the develepment of the property.
