WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property ownerls) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lot i ~f Tract No. 1071 and further described as the Southeast cerner ef West North
Street and North Palm Street.
The applicant, RICHARD M. POLENTZ, 423 Parkway, Anaheim, California, as Owner,
John M. Ken't, 118 S®uth L®s Angeles Street, Anaheim, California as Auth®rized
Agent request reclassification ef the N®rth 72 ft. and the West 108.82 ft. gf this
lot be re~lasSified fr®m R-O, RESIDENTIAL SUBURBAN, to C-l, NEIGHBORHOOD COMN~RCIAL
to permit the erecti®n ®f a Medical - Dental Office.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-58-59_82 on the 20th day of April , 19 59 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consider~tion of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. This subdivision developed with large lots for large residential dwellings
and does contain same o£ the heat homes in the City of Anaheim.
2. Protests were received £rom 85 property owners in the area protesting the
intrusien of any commercial uses within the tract boundaries.
S. The applicant should have been aware o£ the residential classification ef this
property when same was purchased.
4. If granted this could be an opening wedge for other co~aercial uses within this tract.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED ~THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-58-59-82 be denied.
