WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did h01da Public Hearing at .the
· City Hall in the City' of Anaheim, on May 18, 1959 NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as required.by law and: the provisions of the ANAHEIM
~-: ~UNICIPAL 00DE, Section 9200; and
.;-- WHEREAS, Said Com;~_.~sion~ after due inspection, in~'"¥tigation and studies
~!..' made by itself and in its [~lalf and after due eonsideratio~f all evidence and
:~ reports offered'at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1. This is a portion of property now under consideration for annexation to the City of
Anaheim.
2. ~le applicant made three requests: (a) 1000 square feet liveable area buildings.
(b) 6000 square feet lots. (c) 20 feet front yard set backs.
3. "a" and "b" conflict with the present A~aheim Municipal Code.
4. ~le applicant expected that this property would be in Buena Park where they are
presently building some 700 homes.
5. A check of the two tracts to the West with the City of Buena Park showed that they are
issuing building permits for homes with 1223 square, feet of liveable area and lot
sizes ranging from 60r x 100~ to 63~ x 110~.
6. A check of tracts in the Stanton area nearby show homes of 1200 square feet and 6000
square feet.
7, A check of County in this area shows homes of 1008 square fee~ with lots of 7200 square
· feet.
8. With such a large acreage involved, the=e 'appears to be no reaeon why, lots and house
standards of Amahe~n should no~ be maintained regardless of other tracts in the area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNIN~ C0~9~ISSION
