WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a Verified Petition from tho property owner(s) of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Lot 1 o£ Tract No. 2176 and further described as 10971Varna Lane, Anaheim, California. The applicant, NIELVIN R. SHANTZ, 9282 Cellini Avenue, Garden Grove, California, as Owner, requests that the subject property be reclassifY, ed from R-i, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDEWfIAL to C-l, NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL to permit pro fesstonal office use for tho property. WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION NO. F- 58-59-96 on the 25th day of May' , 1959 , NOTICE of which said Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM ~UNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts: 1. This property sides on Katella Avenue and the owner who does not live on the property finds that it is impossible to keep 'tenants on a~count of the noise and traffic conditions. 2. The property owner directly to the North was very much in favor of permitting it to be used for professional offices, in as much as no tenant who hss ocaupied the dwelling hss ever kept up the yard and it is an eyesore to other properties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION HEREBY RECO~iENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION NO.
