WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anahoim has received a Verified Petition from the proporty owner(s) of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Beginning at the center line of South Street, at thc, Southwest corner of Lot 12 of Anaheim Extension, in the County of Orange~ State o~ California~ ~nd running thence on the said center line ,~'J' South StI'eet, North '74~° Cast 9.175 Chains; thence North 157 West D.,15 ~hains; thence South 74~° West 9.175 chains; and thence Sou-Lb 157 East 5.db chains to ~he point o[- beginnin9, The Applicant, WEST COAST BAPTIST CHILDREN'S HOME, a Corporation, as Owner, Walter Gooden, 1222 W. Lincoln Avenue~ Anaheim~ California, as Authorized Agont~ request that the subject property be reclassified from R-l, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL and H-O~ RESIDENT]AL SUBURBAN~ to R-3, MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL. WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION N0. F- 58-59-98 on the 2nd day of June , 1959 , NOTICE of which said Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9~00; and WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts: 1. The property in question sides and backs up to tracts that are variance R-O lo~s~ not having the required R-O frontages, 2. There appears to be no reason why the subject property cannot be developed as R-l, Single Family Residential. 3. Prozests were received from 50 property owners surrounding the subject property, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION HEREBY RECOMMENDS T0 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0F ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION N0.
