';~IEREAS, The City Planning Commission of %he City of Anaheim has received a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: The north 153.71 feet of the east 210.00 of the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of Section 18, Township 4 South, Ran~e i0 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, Page 10 of N~scellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said county. A portion of said land has be subdivided and is now a portion of Colchester Drive and Brookhurst Street as shown on the map of Tract No. 2701 recorded in Book 1i5 Pages 5 and 6 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said county. The applicant, CLEARBROOK LAN~ CORP., 3700 Newport Blvd., Newport Beach, California, as Owner, W. L. Worthen, same address, as Authorized Agent, request that the subject property be reclassified from C-i, Neighborhood Commercial to C-J, Heavy Commercial to permit the erection of a service station. WREREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION NO. F-59-60-51 on the 2nd day of November , 19 59 , NOTICE of which said Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9~00; and WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, ~nd after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and de~ermine the following facts: 1. The property is presently classified as C-1 and abuts R-1 on the north. 2. This would be placing a rather intensive uses next to this single family residential property. 3. It would be placing a service station in the middle of a block between Orange Ave and Ball Road. 4. It would appear that this property should be restricted to C-1 uses as previously zoned. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION NO. F- 59-60-51 B~ DENIP.
