A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION 0F THE CITY 0F ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-.$9-60-$7 be approved
WHEREAS, Thc City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The south 150.00 feet of the north 216.00 ft. of the east five (5) acres of the north half
of the northeast quarter Of the northeast quarter of Section 18, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Ca]if, as Mid
section is shown on a map recorded in Book 51, Page 10 of Misc. lisps, in the office of the
county recorder of said County.
Hxcept the east 250 ft. thereof.
The Applicant, LAND aSTATaS, INC., 9101 Brookhurst St. Anaheim, Calif. requests t~at the
subject property be reclassified from R-A, RBSID~NTIAL AGRICULTURAL to C-2, GBN~AL
C~CIAL.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-59-60-57 on the21st dam of December , 19 59 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The property to the northsnd south are presently classified as commercial.
2. It is proposed to erect a bldg. to serve m offices for Land ]~states, Inc. with retail
stores on the front portion of the bldg.
3. The applicant stated that they w~uld be willing to have C-l, Neighborhood Commercial
rather than C-~., General Commercial as they had no proposed uses that w~Ad req,,ire C-2.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOMM~NDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F- 59-.60-59 be approved for reclassification from R-A, R]~SIDP. NTIAL AGRICTJLTbTb%L to
C-l, NT~IGfIBORHOOD CO~BRCIA~ subject to:
1. The filing of C-1 Deed Restrictions approved by the City Attorney.
2. The erection of the bldg. essentially as shown on Plot Plan and rendering presented.
3. Prepare st. improvement plans and install all improvements in accordance with approved
s~andard plans in the office of the C~ty ~ngineer on Lincoln,:-AVe~Ue.
4. The payment of $2.00 per front foot for street lighting purposes.
5. That a 90 day time limit be set for the accomplishmen~ of conditions 1, 3 and 4.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 21st day of December, 1959.
