WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
All that certain land situated in the State of C~.'lifornia, County of Orange, City of Anaheim,
described as follows:
Thai portion of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section Seventeen, Township Four
South, Range Ten West, S.B.B. & M., described as follows:
Beginning at e point in the center line of Brookhurst Street, said point being the Southwest corner
of said Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter; thence North 89° 58' 11" Hast along the South
line of said Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter, 350 feet; thence North 0° 40' 06" East
parallel to said center line of Brookhvrst Street, 124.31 feet; thence South 89° 58' 11" West para-
llel to said South line 30~ feet to a point in said center line; thence South 0° 40" 06" West
along said center line 124.31 feet to the point of beginning.
The applicants, LLOYD A. MANNES and HOWARD A. LUTZ, 9602 Orange Avenue, Anaheim, California,
request that the subject property be reclassified from R-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL, to C-L,
NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL.
WHER~S, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFIOATION
NO. F-08-59-111 on the 7th day of July , 1~9 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE. Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The property fronts on Brookhurst Street proposed as a major street.
2. This property is Just south of the Sherwood Medical Center.
3. it is proposed ~o erect a 6 ft. masonry wall along the east property line.
