recommending to the City.Council of the City of Anaheim that a private BOWLINu ALLEY
for non-commercial use be included in the R-A. RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL Zone„ _._.

WHEREAS, the Building Department of the City of Anaheim has r.eceived a request
for the erection of a two lane, non-commercial Bowling Alley; and
WHEREAS, such a use is not included in the R-A, RESTDEbtTIAL-AGRICULTURAL Zone; and
WHEREAS, The City Pl.anning Commission did consider this use at an Adjourned
Reguiar Meeting held in the Council Chamber of the City Hall in the Ci±y of Anaheim •
on Monday, August 17th, 1959 as required under the provisions of the Anaheim Munici.pal
Code, Section 9200.14 1- General "b:'; and
WHEREAS; after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said
meeting, does find and determine the following factsa
_, Many types of recreation are permitted in the R-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL
Zone where the~ are n~n-commercial.
2. Some of these Lses v:ould involve the erection of an accessory bu=lding,.
3. The use of an occessory building for a private bowling alley H!ould
not be a more ini:ensive than some of the uses presently pe•rmitted~
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED TNAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HERESY Recommends to the City Council of the City o: Anaheim that a PRTVATE BOWLING
ALLEY, NON-COMMERCIAL, limited t: i,:~o lanes be added to the R-A, RESIDENT.iAL-AGRICULT'URAL,
Zone sub3ect tos
1. That it always remain non-commercial.
2. That the building be sound proofed.
