WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of 0range, State of California, described as follows: Parcel 1. All that certain land situated in the City of Anaheim, County of orange, State of California descirbed as follows: The north 165 feet of the west 100 feet of the east 264 feet of the northeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 12, Township 4 South, Range ll West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian. Parcel 2. All that certain land situated in the City of Anaheim, County of orange, State of California described as follows: The north 165 feet of the east 164 feet of the north- east quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 12, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian. The Authorized Agent~ BILL McCOY, 6275 Grand Avenue, Buena Park, California, representing property owners, Martin Klein, Bill W. Berkes, Carl J. Kymla, requests that the subject properties be reclassified from R-l, Single Family Residential to C-l, Neighborhood Commercial, restricted to Professional Offices and to C-3, Heavy Commercial, restricted to a Service Station. WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION NO. F- $8-$9-11~on the 7th day of July , 1959 , NOTICE of which said Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM MUNICIPA~ CODE, Section 9200; and WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered.at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts: 1. This property is across the street from homes that back up to Crescent Avenue, with a 6 foot block wall along the street. 2. The southeast corner is being developed as a church site, with some o~ the buildings presently in use. 3. The northeast corner is developed with single family homes fronting on Crescent Avenue. 4. To the souzh are dwellings on commercial acre lots. 5. Protests were received from 24 property owners in the area residing in Buena Park and Anaheim. and a further petition by 63 members attending the Christian Reformed Church. 6. Letters were received from Paul Pierce, Park Village ~states and T. KozbUr, Director of Planning, Buena Park, protesting the proposed reclassification. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION HEREBY DBNIRS ECLASSIFICATION NO.
