A BESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM GRANTING VARIAMCB NO. 1142
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the 0wrier(s) of a certain parael of real property situated
in the City .of Anaheim~ County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
All that certain land situated in the State of California, County of Orange, City of
Auaheim, described as follows: The south 310,00 feet of that portion of the SW~ of
Section 22, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon De Santa.Ana, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 51, Page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange Co.,
Calif., described as follows: Beginning at the S~ corner of said SB} of .Section 22; thence
north 675.00t along the west line of said SB~; thence east 573.51' parallel wbth the south
line of said SE~; thence south 00 16· 30" east 675.11' to the south line of s~.d SB~;thcnce
west to the.point of beginr/n~.. Bxcepting therefrom the west ,,30.00 feet.

WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Mall in the City of Anaheim, on September 8, 1959 NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as' required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and Studies
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at.said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1. This property is on the north side of Katella Avenue east' of Harbor BlVd.and lies
between two other properties developed with Motels.
2. The granting of this variance would permit 1he same rights enjoyed by adjoining
properties.
3. The plans shown an attractive motel that should not be detrimental to o~her properties
in the area,
NOW, TMEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
MEREBY GPJgNTS VARIA~NC]~ NO. 1142, subject to:
1. /l~e erection of the bldg. in acc .'4once with the plans presented. 2. /he dedication of 60 feet
to the City of ~aheim from the cen lihe of Katella Ave. 3. Prepare st. imp. plans and install
all improvements J,n accordance with ~,~andard approved plans on file in the office of the City
~ngineer. 4. Payment of $2.00 per front foot for street lighting purposes. 5. The fron~ set back
line to be 20 feet from the property line. 6. Thc location of sign to be as shown on plans and
must not extend over the property llne.
