GRANTING ' VAR/ANCI~ NO_ 1149
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the Owner(s) of a Certain parcel of real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
All that certain real property situated in the City of Auaheim, County of Orange, State of Calif.,
described as follows. . That protion of the SB~ of the S]~ of Section 20, Township 4 South, Range l0
West, S.B.B. & M., described as follows: Commencing at the SM corner of said Section 20, being the
~,'~ intersection of the center lines of Katella & Euclid Avenues, as shown on a map of Tract No. 2176
recorded in Book 59, Pages 34 and 35 of Miscellaneous Maps,. records of Orange Co., Calif., thence
north 0o 55' 00" east 185.00* along siid center line of ]~uclid Ave. to the true pcint of beginning;

The Applicant, JACK BROWN, 1677 W. Katella, Anaheim, Calif.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on September 8, 1959 NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly .given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL .CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Co~ission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by.itself and in its behalf and after due consideration cf all evidence and
reports offered at. said Hearing, does find and determine the .following facts:
1. The subject property is zoned C-i with buildings under construction at the Northwest corner
of ]~uclid' Ave. and Katella Ave.
2. The stores are S~t back 125 feet on ]~uclid Ave. so that a sign at the property line is
necessary to cate~ to passing traffic.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY GRANT~ VARIANCE NO. 1143, subj~ ': to: locating the sign not less than 53 feet
from the center line of ~uclid Avenue with no overhang over the property line.
