A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
GRANTING VARIANCE NO. 1144
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of re~l property situated
in the CitF of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
All that certain land situated in the State of California, County of Orange, described as
follows: Lots 3 and 4 in Block "A" o'f Tract No. 13, as shown on a map recorded in Book. 9,
Page 12 of Miscellaneo:Is Maps, records of Orange County, Caiif0rnia. Excepting therefrom
tile north 216 feet of the West 404.62' feet (said distances being measured to the center lille

WHEREAS, The City P].ara~ing Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on September 8, J. 959 NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as required by law s'~:d the provisions of the ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
made by itself and in its behalf and after d~e consideration cf all evidence and
reports offer, ed 'at said Hearing, does find and dgtermine the fotl,,~g facts:
1. ~ese si~s are to advertise the Dow development 'presently t',nder com~t~.uction at the southeast
corner of Brookhurst St=eet and Lincoln Ave. 2, ~e sign will face ~r~ckhuzst St. and the
other Lincoln Ave. 3. ~e signs will be non-blinking ~:,d ~on-revol,ying and be lighted during
business hours only. 4. A protest was received from the Lincoln Dark Civ/~ Asso~ia%ion regarding
the present sign. ~is sign is to be removed·
5.~e set backs of signs will be a minimum of 50 feet from tile center line ct both Brookh~-~
and Lincoln Ave.
NOW, THEREF0~, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM

Lincoln Ave.

12 feet and an overall height of 20 ft. 3 inches.
3.~at .the present sign be removed.
