PC 1959-1960-55 --g0LUTION NO. d0 - SERIES 1909- A RESOLUTION 0P THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION NO. ~-59-60-P0 ~e ~ppvoved WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, $~ate of California, described as follows: Lots 1-4 inclusive of Trect No. 2701. The applicant~ ~L~ARBRO0~ LAN~ ~ORP., 3700 Newport Blvd., Newport BeaCh, Calif., as ~.~er, W. L. Worthen, 3700 Newport Blvd.~ Newport Beach, Calif., as Authorized Agent, request that the above lots be reclassified from R-S, M~LTI~I~ FAMILY R~SIDE~fIAL, to C-l, N~IGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL. WHEREAS, The City Plmn~ing Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION NO. F-59-60-20 on the 8th day of September , 1959 , NOTICE of which said Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies m-de by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts: 1. The subject lots adjoin a parking lot for commercial property fronting on Brookhurst Street. 2. These business and professional offices will make a buffer between the retail commercial and the R-S, MULTIPLE FAMILY lots. 3. The entrance to the required parking for the business and professional offices would be from the commercial parking lot and not from the residential street. 4. This would appear to be a better use of these lots than as presently zoned for Multiple Family Residential. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAw~..IM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION NO. P- 59-60-20 be approved for reclassification of the subject properties from R-3, MULTI~E FAMILY RESIDENTIAL~ to C-l, NEIGHBORHOOD C0~9~ERCIAL, subject to: 1. That standard Deed Restrictions of the City of Anaheim be placed on the properties, approYed by the Oity Attorney, limitlng the use to business and professionai o£fice$. 2. ~he erection of the buildings essentially the same as plans presented.
