A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
REC0~J~ENDING T0 THE CITY COUNCIL 0F THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-59-60-26 be denied.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
~]e east 150 feet of that portion of Lot 1 of the Kellogg Homestead Tract, .lying
westerly of the east 3 acres of said lot 1. Bxcepting therefrom the south 277 feet
therefrom.
The Applicants, JOHN BBLLO and HARRY SILVERSTBIN, 4040 Coco Ave., Los Angeles,
California, as Owners, Mol Mack Realty Company, 2966 Lincoln Ave., Anaheim, Calif.,
as Authorized Agent request that the subject property be reclassified from C-1
NEIGHBORHOOD CO~RCIAL, to C-2, GF_NMRAL COMMERCIAL.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F- 59-60-26 on the 21st de;~ of Sept. , 1959 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and %he provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission,-after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The property is presently classified as C-i, Neighborhood Commercial.
2. The Commission believes that any C-2 use proposed for the area should be specific
and granted by variance to determine the compatibility with other uses on the
property and not be given a blanket C-2 zoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOM/AENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECSASSIFICATION
NO. F- 59-60-26 be denied.
