A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING T0 TRE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0F ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-59-60-30 be denied.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the preperty owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The south half of the south 10 acres of the west half of the northwest quarter
of the southwest quarter of Section 28, Towhship 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. &
and further described as being on the east side of Euclid Ave. between Katella
and Chapman Avenues.
The Applicants DA~'AL~ S. BERNHA~T, 8212 Larson Ave., Garden Grove, Calif.
as Owners request that the sub3ect property be reclassified from R-A, RESIDENTIAL
AGRICULTURAL to C-l, NEIGHBOrhOOD CONL~tF~CIAL for 150 feet from the property line at
Euclid Avenue and the balance of the property be R-3, MULTIPLR FA~4ILY RESIDENTIAL.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing a% the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of P. ECLASSIFICATION
NO. F' 59-60-30 on the 21st day of September , 19 $9 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The property fronts on ~uclid , a secondary highway where R-3 might be allowed, but bal:
of the frontage lots, there could be afl R-1 development.
2. Protests were received from 48 property owners on Della Lane against the R-3
classification.
3. ~le homes on Della Lane are in the $30,000.00 to $45,000.00 range.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HEREBY RECOMMENDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F- 59-60-30 be denied.
