PC 1959-1960-77 : 0LUTION NO. 77 - SERIES 1959-'- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CiTY OF ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION NO. F-59-§0-3§ be approved. WHEREAS, The City Pl-nning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: ShoppLng. Centez: Ail that certain 3and situated in the State of Calif., County of Orange, City of Anaheim, described as follows: The S½ of the ~½ of the S~ of the S~ of Section 11, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, ms shown on a map recorded in Book 51, Page 11 of Mice. Maps, records of Orange County, Calif. Excepting therefrom the southerly 160.00· of the Rasterly 220.00t. Also excepting therefrom that portion of said land described in a deed to the State of Calif., recorded June 19, 1941 in Book 1101, P. 42 of Official Records. Also excepting therefrom that portion of said land described in a deed to the State of California, recorded June 10 1952 in Book 2340, P. 453 of Official Records. Service Station: Ail that certain land situated in the State of Ca/if., County of Orange, City of Anaheim, described as follows: The Southerly 160.00 feet of the Easterly 220.00 feet of the Southeast quarter of th~ southeast quarter of Section 11, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, P. 11 of Misc. Center St., Anaheim, Calif., as Authorized Agent, request that the subj. property be reclassified from R-A, RRSID~/~rIALAGRICULTURAL to 0-3, H~AVY ~CIAL for a distance of ir~length on Stanton Avenue and 165t in length along Lincoln Ave. at the northwest corner of Lincoln ~ Stanton Avenues for the erection of a Service Station and that the balance of the property be re- classified to WHEREAS, The City Pl-nning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the C-1. City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION NO. F-59-60-36 on the 5th day cf October , 1959 , NOTICE of which said Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of tho ANAheIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts: 1. There was for many years an out-door market on this corner which burned down. 2. It is proposed to develop the property with a major market as a neucleous with other subsidiary stores. 3. This property was first considered in 1956 but was denied without predjudice at that time as no plans for development were presented. 4. This represents a good land use for the property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT TRE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION HEREBY RECOM~R_.NDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AN_A~aIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION NO. F- 59-60-36 he approved for reclassification from R A, P.~SID~NTIALAG~ICULTURAL to C-3, KRAVY CO~f~RCIAL at the northwest corner of Stanton and L/ncoln Avenues for a distance of 120 feet in length along Stanton Ave. and 165 feet in length along Loncoln Ave. and that the balance of the property be reclassified to C-i, N~IGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL, subject to: -1- 1. ~he filing of C-3 Deed Restrictions approved by the City Att~,~ey, iimit~g the use to a Service Station only. 2. The filing of C-1 Deed Restrictions approved by the City Attorney. 3. The dedication to the City of Anaheim of 55 feet on Stanton Ave. 4. Prepare st. improvement plans and install all improvements in accordance with approved star_lard plans on file in the office of the City ~n§ineer on both Lincdn & Stanton Aves. 5. Payment of $2.00 per front foot for street li§htin~ purposes on both streets. 6. That a 90 day time limit be set for the accomplishment of above conditions. 7.
