WHEREAS, The City Planning Co~nission of the City of ~maheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The South 130.56' of the West 242fleet' of the South 10 acres of the Southwest
quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 21, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B. & M.
Except the East 65 feet.
ALBERT HEMLER, 1472 South Euclid, Anaheim, California, as Applicant, request that
the subject property be reclassified from R-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL, to C-i~
NEIGHBORHOOD CON~RCIALo
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F- 59-60-25 on the 26th day of October , 1959 , NOTICE cf which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its bohalf, and aftor due considoration of all evidenco
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the follOwing facts:
1. Property is clasSified R-l, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL.
2. Request for R-3 was denied across street on Euclid.
3o~ Area is developed with homes only, which could be depreciated.
4. There appears to be no logical justification for commercial zoning in the area.
5. Approval of request might constitute spot zoning.
since a 2/3 majority vote has not been obtained within the 40 day period as provided for
