A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY 0FANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0FANANEIN THAT RECLASSIFICATION
NO. Pd~CLASSIFICATION NO. F-59-60-45 BB DP. NI~D.
WHEREAS, The City Plsnning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lots 124 and 12~ of Tract No. 1951 and further described as being on the west side
of Magnolia Avenue between Ball Road and Rome Avenue and further described as 927
Magnolia ;,venue be reclassified from R-i, SINGLE FAMILY R~SID~NTIAL TO C-l, NEIGHBORHOOD
CO~4~RCIAL.
The Applicant EDWIN AND PATRICIA~]~STON, 11911 Lampson, Garden Grove, California, as Owners,
Anaheim Realty Inc., Box 2216 BrookhurSt Station, Anaheim, California, as AuthorizedAgent,
request that the subject property be reclassified from R-1 to C-1.
WHEREAS, The City PlAnning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECLASSIFICATION
NO. F-59-60-45 on the 26th day of October , 1959 , NOTICE of which said
Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Sec%ion 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence
and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine %he following facts:
1. Property is zoned R-1 and has a residence on the property.
2. Applicant c~nuot provide for adequate off-street parking.
3. To set a barber shop in this single family residential zone would prove highly
injurious to adjoining properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANA/KEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
