PC 1959-1960-159 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO, 1194 WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a Verified Petition from the 0whorls) of a certain parcel of real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: The southerly 350.00 ft. of the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of the norti~vest quarter of Section 16, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho S~n Juan de Santa Ana, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in th,~ City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 52, Page i0 of Miscellaneous ~laps, in the office of the County Recorder of said county. S~d land is a portion of Lot 7 uf the Helen and Lynch Subdivision, as per map recorded in Book 442, Page 158 cf Deeds, in the County Recorder of .Los Angeles County, State of Calif. ~e Applicant, IRVING DUMM, III, 11162 Barclay Dr., Garden Grove, Calif. WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City Mall in the City of Anaheim, on February 1, 1960 NOTICES of which said Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies msde by itself and in its behalf and a~+er due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts: 1. To allow a 20 ftto P-L zone rather than the present 50 foot P-L zone would constitute a grant of special privelege. 2. Other properties in the area zoned M.-1 maintain thc req[lired 50 foot P-L zone. 3. In his request for waiver of provision as set forth ill Paragraph A, Section~00.11, requiring a review of any use proposed with in 330 ft. of any public school site, appli9ant could not show sufficient hardship. (4) School has been a~ this loc~tion many yrs. prior to ~-i zoning in area & thereby deserves protection afforded bv provision i~code.
