WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verified Petition from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange. State of California, described as follows:

GEORGE BENNETT, 919 N. Shaffer St., Oranqe, Calif., requesting permission to CONSTRUCT
RESTAURANT (N° LIQUOR WILL BE SOLD)
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on Feb. 15, 1960 NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Se'ction 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1. The proposed use is for a restaurant only.
2. The restaurant would be a complementary use to the motel immediately to the ~est and
would be consistant with other developments in the area.
NOW, THEREFOP~E, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNIN~ COMMISSION
HEREBY Grants Variance No. 1206, be gr'an~ed ~fter finding
That the use of the propezty would require street improvements and street lighting
ac r~commended by the Engineering Committee in order to preserve the safety and welfare
of the cit'.i~ens of the City of Anaheim and subject ~o the following:
1. Plans presented.
2. P].~-3pare street impz'ovement.~plans and install~tl improvements in accorda~r;~ v,'J%h
approved stsndard lplans on file in office of City Hngineer.
3. Payment of $2.00 per front foot rom' street lighting purposes.
