A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM Denying Variance No. 1210
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received
a Verifisd Petition 'from the Owner(s) of a certain parcel of real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The H. 165 ft. of .the NW~ of the NW~ of' the NE~ of Sec. 23, T4S, RllW, SBB & M.
Excepting therefrom theN, 396 ft., said deed being ~'ecorded Oct. 15, 1957 in book 4069
page 574, Official Records., ~1~o d~scr~d as on the north side of Lane Rose Drive between
Western and Courtright St.
MAX W. SMITH, 801W. Porter~ Pullerton, Calif., as Applicant.
WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on ~arch 7, 1960 NOTICES of which said
Public Hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL'CODE, Section 9200; and
WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies
made by itself and in its behalf .and after due consideration of all evidence and
reports offered at said Hearing, does find and determine ~he following facts:
1. The applican'~ i~; requesting permission to'sPlit the lot into two 82.5? parcels and to
construct ~ single 'story~ single family dwellings on each parcel~l with 20' front and 20'
rear set backs. The proposed dwellings are less than 1225 sq. ft. as required.
2. There was a petition 'submitted agains this applica~om by resident~ in the area.
3. The proposed development is inconstant with the quality and value of established residential
developments and would tend to adversly effect the area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
HERESY Denies Variance No. 1210.
On roll~ call the foregoing resoiutio~ was denied by the following vote::
AYHS: COMMISSIONERS: Allred~ DuBois, GaUer, ~larcoux, Mauerhan, MOrris~ Mungall~ Summers.
NOES: 'COMMISSIONERS: None.
ABSENT: COMMISSIONERS: Hapgood.
