WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the
City Hall in the City~of Anaheim, on November ?, 1960 N02ICES of which said
Public'Hearing were duly given as required by law and the previsions of the AA~AHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200 ~ and
WHEREAS, Said ~mission, after due inspection, .'~vestigation and studies
made by itself and in i'~behalf and after due considorat~n o£ all evidenuo and
reports offered at said Nearing, dot,s find and determine tho following fa~ts:
1. ~etitioner requests a variance from Code, Section 18.24.030 (3) which requires, for
subject property, a 25'rear yard but which presently has a 17 ft. rear yard, to
permit encroachmen~ of 12 f~. into existing rear y%rd, in order to construct an
addition to ~ family room ~o the ~e~r of ~he existing residence
2. The proposed addition ~uld constitute an extension of the existing residence ~o
within 5 feet of the rear property line or approximately 22 ft. from an existing
residence on the property abutting the re~z of subject property.
3. Opposition to the petition was registered ag the meeting of October 17, 1960.
