Porest Lane Anaheim, Cal£fornia WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, on November 7, 1960 NOTICES of which said Public Hearing wore duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM ~UNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and WHEREAS, Said C~'uission, after due inspection, ,~'estigation and studies made by itself and in i't~behalf and after due considerat~n of all evidence and reports offered at said Hearing, does £ind and determine the following facts: 1. Peti'~ioner requests a variance from Code, Section 18.24.030(3), which requires for subject property a 25 it. rear yard, to permit encroachment of 11 ft. into required rear yard in order to construct an addition to the back of an existing residential structure. 2. ~xistin§ rear yard is 44 ft. in depth. Proposed addition would occupy approximately 12~ percent of required rear yard. 3. There are additional areas available on the rear of the property which would more than compensate for the proposed encroachment. 4. Although Ord. No. 957 requires installation of sidewalks, no sidewalks have been constructe~ to dar% iii this tract. 5. No one appeared in opposition to the petition. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ANAHEI~ CITY PLANNIN~ O0AP~ISSION HEHEBY GRANTS VARIANCB NO. 1311, FOR ~ WAIVER OP ILRAR YARD S~TBAC~ R~QUIR~RRNT TO P~IMIT ~NCROACH~NT TO WITHIN 14 PT. 0~ P.~AR PROP]~RTY LINB FOR TH~ ADDITION OF A fAmILY ROOM, subject to the followin§ conditions: 1. Bevelpmen~ substantially in accordance with plans presented. 2. Installation of sidewalks per Ordinance No. 957. The fore~oin~ conditions were found to be a necessary prerequisite to the use of the property in order to preserve the safety and welfare of the Citizens of Anaheim.
