A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT RECLASSIFICATION NO. F-60-61-15 BP- D]LNIBD. WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has received a Verified Petition from the property owner(s) of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described a,.~ follows: Being that certain zeal property lying north of Tract No. 1635 as shown on a map recorded in Book 49, Pages .1 and 2, Miscellaneous M~ps, records of Orange Co,,u'~y, City of Anaheim, County o£ Orange, State of California! described as £ollows: Beginning at a point at the intersection o£ the north line of said Tract No~ 16~5 and the centerline of New Avenue; thence from said point of intersection South 89e $1· 50" West 1137.73 feet to a point; thence North~447o $1· ~0" east $3.19 feet to a point; thence North 00e 07· 30" east 287.20 feet to a ~oint; thence north 89e $2~ 00" east 1100.$9 feet to a point; thence south 00o 10~ 40" West '324.76 feet to the point of beginning. Orangewood Avenue Anaheim, California WHEREAS, The City Planning Commission did hold a Public Hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said VERIFIED PETITION of RECSASSIFICATION NO. F- 60-61-15 on the 15th day of August , 1~0 , NOTICE of which said Public Hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of the ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, Section 9200; and WHEREAS, Said Commission, after due inspection, investigation'and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said Hearings, does find and determine the following facts: 1. R~3 in this.area would establish a'precedent for similar usage of the undeveloped property to the north. 2. Development'on'this parcel would involve a tie in, via Carolyn Way, with an existing R-1 tract. 3~ ~Strong opposition h~s been expressed by residents in thc =rca. 4. The subject property is an integral pa~t 6f an area developing for quality single family residences.
