A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY
COUNCIL THE AMENDt~IENT OF TITLE EIGHTEEN, ZONING CODE~ OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF A P-L ZONE ALONG THE HIGHWAY FRONTAGES OF CERTAIN AREAS.
WHEREAS, said Amendment establishes a P-L Zone along the highway frontages of cer-
tain areas described herein; AND,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did initiate and conduct public hearings on
October 3, 1960 and October 17, 1960; AND,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did determine the need for establishing a
P-L Zone in certain areas and that said Zone would be oF benefit to the Citizens of Anaheim;
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION DOES RECOMMEND TO TFfE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CII'Y OF ANAHEIM THE ADOPTION OF THE pMENDMENT TO TITLE 18 - ZONING CODE~ OF
THE ANpHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE ESTABLISHING A P-L ZONE ALONG CERTAIN HIGHWAY FrZONTAGES DESCRIBED
AS FOLLOWS:
1. Those properties lying on the north and south sides of and along Cerritos Avenue
, extending from Los Angeles Street to the easterly City limits.
2o Those properties lyin9 on the east and west sides of and along Lewis Street ex-
tending from Ball Road to Katella Avenue.
, Said P-L Zone to be 50 feet measured from the Planned Highway Right-Of-Way line as
established by the Circulation Element of the Comprehensive Gener~l Plan with the
, following exceptions:
~"`'~~ 1. The provision of a 35 foot F••L Z.one along the north side of Cerritos Avenue from
.~ Lewis Street easterly to the Santa Fe Railroad right-of-way.
( 2. The provision of a 35 foot P-L Zone on the south side of Cerritos Avenue from
- ! Lewis Street easterly to the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way.
~ 3e The provision of a 35 foot P-L Zone along the east side of Lewis northerly from
~ Cerritos Avenue to the Santa Fe Railroad right-of-way and southerly from Cerritos
~~ Avenue to the Sout!:_~a Pacific Railroad xight-of-way.
