sions of the Anaheim Municipai Code~ Chapter 18.T2, to hear and consides evidence for and
against said proposed reciassi€icatioa and to investigate and aake findings ~nd recasnaen-
dations in connection therewith; aad

3. That the proposed reclassification of aub3ect property doea properiy
relate to tha zoaea and their permitted uses locaiig estabiished in close prozi~aity 4e

5, That the subject property has been developed primazily for R-3, Multiple
Pazaily Residential, use and that the C-~~ General CommeYCial, zone and development is
not in harmoay with the existing residential deveiopment.
6. 1'nat a petition, contai~ing 41 signaturas and re~questing reclassification of
the subject properties to the R-3 zone, was filed with the Cewmission. Verbal opposi-
tion to the proposed reclassification of the subject oronerties to the R-3 zone was
recorded by two property owners, ' ~

N(~1, TSdEREPORE, BB IT RESOLVBD that the Anaheim City Planning Commiseion hereby
recommends to the City Council oF the City of Anaheim that Petition for Reclassification
No. 60-61-97 be approved and, by so doing, that Title 18-Zoning of the Anaheim
Municipal Code be amended to exclude the above described property from the C-2, GBNHRAL
COMt~RCIAL zone and to incorporate said described property in the R-3, MULTIPLS FAMILY
RSSIDBNTIAL zone, on the'basis of the aforementioned findings.
