A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLAN~TING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ''•
THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE N0. 1431 BE GRANTED '
WHEREAS, t~ e City Planning Commission of the City of Anehaim did receive e verified Petition for Variance
from MR. and DiRS. FORItEST L. DRARB, 928 West Water Street, Anaheim, California, Owners of
certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, Stai:e of California,
as described in ~xhibit 1°A" or as follows: Lot No. 1, Tract No, 1400 and further described

WHEREAS, the City Plenning Com~isEion did hold e public headng et the City Iiall in the City of Anaheim
an December 11, 1961 at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said pubtic hearing having been duly given es requiced
by law and in acco:dance with the p:ovisions of the Maheim Municipal Code, Chepter 18.68,to hear snd consider
evidence for and against said pcoposed verience and to inves~igate and make findings end cecommeadetions in connec-
tion therewith; and
WHEREAS, seid Commission, efter due inspection, inv~stigation, and study made by itself end in its behalf,
and after due con~sideration af sll avidence and :eports offered as aeid hearing, does find and deteanine the following
facts:
1. That the.petitioaer cequests a variance from the Aneheim Municipel Code: Section 18.24,030 (3) to
permit an encroachment of twenty~two (22) feet into the required rear ya~d in order to
construct a new garage in conjunction with the remodeling of an existing xesidence on
subject property.
2. That the:e are exceptional or extraordinary circumatances or conditions applicable to the property involved
or to the intended use of the property that do not apply gene:ally to thE propecty or class of use in the same vicinity
and zone.
3. Thet the requested variercce is necessery for the p:eservetion ond enjoyment of a substantial property right
possessed by other property in the seme vicinity and zone, and denied to the property in question.
4. That the requested variance Kill not be matedally detrimentel to the public welfete oc injurious tetheprop-
erty or improvements in such vicinity and zone in which the propecty is loceted.
5. That the cequested varience w.ill not advessely effect the Comprehensive General Plen.
6. That no one appeared in opposition to subject pe#ition.
