SERIHS 1961-62 `: RBSOLUTIQN OP 1HH CITY PIANNING C6~4~SI3SIOId AF TY.B CITY QP ANaHBY?d THAT PBTITION POR VARIANGB N0. 1379 BH GRANTED WH~tBA5, ~he City Plann3ng Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Variance from IRVING M, LOEWBNTHAL, 513 Sycamore, Irglewood, California, Owner of cer~ain reai property sisuated in the City of Aaaheim~ Couaty o£ Orange, S4ate of California, aa described in Bxhibit "A" or as follows: Lot 15, Tract No. 2683 ; and Wf~RBAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a pubiic hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on J~ly 24, 1961 at 2;00 ~'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by]aw and in accordance with the provi- sions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, ~hapter 18.65, to hear and consider evidence for and against said proposed variance and to iavestigate and ma-e findings and recommendations in connection therewith; and WF~RBAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation,aad studq u:9de by it~- seif and in its behalf, and after due cocisideration of all evidence and reports offere~l as said hearing, does find and determine the foliowing facts: ~ l: That the petitior.er requests a variance from the ~:naheim Municipal Code: Section 18. 32,060 to permit the construction of a two story apaztmeLt development within 150 feet of property classified in the R-A, Residential Agxicultural, Zone. 2. That taere are exceptional or extraordiaary circumstancea or conditions applicable to the property involved or to the intended use of the property that do not apply generally to the property ar class of use in th~e same vicinity and zone. 3, That the requested variance is neceasary far the preservation and en,~oyment of a oubstanLial property right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone, and denied to the property ia question. 4. That the requested variance will not be materialiq detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the property or improvements in such vicin3tq and zone in whi.ch the property is located. 5, That the requested variance will not adversely affec•4 the Cor~prehe~usive General Plan. 6e That no cae appeared in opposition to subject petition.
