That the petitioner requests a variance from the Anaheim Nunicipal Code: 9ection 18 16.010 and Section 18.08.390 to permit the incidental operation of a beauty shop in an existing residence. 2. That the reo,~ested var.iance is not necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a substantial property right possessed by o4her property in the same vicinity and zone, and denied to the property in question. 3. That the surrounding properties are residential in character and the establishment of a commercial use on sub3ect property would not be compatible~with the surrounding develop- ment . . 4.
