THAT PBTITION POR VARIANCH N0. 13~9 BE GRANTED Wf~itBA3~ the-City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Variance fsom MARlE SHOOK, 2836 West Lincoln P.venue, Anaheim, Caiifornia, Owner of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, Count.p of Oraage, State o£ California, as deacribed in Bxhibit "k" or as follows: The East 90 feet of the North 291 feet of the West 6 acres of the North 10 acres of the East 13 acres of the North 18 acres of the East 30 acres of the Nor•theast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 13y in Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, City of Anaheim, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 51, page 11, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange Ccunty; EXCEPT the North 66~00 feete ; an~i WFIHRBA3, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall ia the City of Anaheim on September ~i, 1961 at 2:00 o~clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by]aw and in accordance with the provi- aions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.68, to hear and consider evidence for and againat said proposed variance and to investigate r~d mate findAnga and recommendatians in con.:ection ther!with; and WFIDItBAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation,and study made by it- self.and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered as said hearing, does find and determine the foliowing facts: 1. That the petitioner re~uests a variance from 4he Anaheim Mutticipel Code: Sectioit 18.~6.010 (1) to permit the utilization of an existing garage attached to an existing residence ort subject property for an antique shop. 2. That there are exceptionnl or extraordinary circumstancea or conditions applicable tc the property involved or to the intended use of the property that do aot apply generaiiy to the property or ciass of uae in the same viciaitq aad zane. 3, That the requeated varinnce is necessary for the preaervation and en,~oqmeat of a subsLant3al property right posseased by other property in the same viciaity and zone, and den3ed tu the property in question. • 4. That the requeated variance will not be materialiy detrimental to the public weifare or inJurious to the property or improvements in auch vicinity and zone ia wh9.ch the property is located, ~ 5. That the requeated variance will not adversely nffect the Comprehensive General Ylan. 6. That the petitioner has operated an antique shop on abutting property to the west: for a number of years and that said operation will be abandoned upon relocation to subJect property. 7. Development substantially in sccordance with Exhibit No. l. 2. Limitation of the antique shop operation to the existing garage only, as indicated in Exhibit No. 1, tor a three (3) year period of time, subject to review if requested at the termination of said three (3) year period of time. 3. Employment shall be limited to the members of the resident family only. 4. No outdoor storage of materials and/or supplies. 5. Limitation of one (1) advertising sign wich a maximum of four (4) square feet on subject property. . 6. Preparation of street improvement plans and installation of all improvements fo~ Lincoln Avenue, in accordance with the approved standard plans on file in the office of the City F'r.o~n~er. 7. Payment of $2.~0 per front foot for street lighting purposPS on Lincoln Avenue. 8. Time limitation'of one hundred eighty (18U) days for the accomplishment of Item Nos. 6 and 7. ....
