SHRIEiS 1961-62 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COINMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEiM TfiAT PETITION FOR VARIANCF NO. 1442 BE GRANTED WHEREAS, the City Planning Commisaton of the City of Aneheim did receive a vedfied Petition for Varience from MILDRBD M. HAMMffitMAN, 4755 Rdbertson Bouledard, Beyerly Hills, California, Owner; David S. Collins, A077 West Ball Rdad, Anaheim, California, Ageht of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Califoznia, as described in Hxhibit "A" or as follows: The southerly 3~ inches of Lot S6 and Lot 57, excepting the easterly rectangula~[ 2 inches of the northerly rectangular 20 feet o£ Lot 57, and all of Lots 58, 65 and 66 in Block B of Heimann & George~s Map of Addition Building-Lots, as shown on a map recorded in Book 2, Page 249, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, Caiifornia ; anc WHEREAS, the Clty Planning Commission did hold a public headng et the City Hall in the Ciry oE Aneheim on January 22, 1962 at 2:00 o'clock P.M., ::otice oE said public heering having been duly given es requiced by law end in accordance with the provisione oE the Maheim Municipel Code, Chepter 18.68,to heac and considet evidence for end ageinst said proposed vacience and to investigete and meke ffndings end recommendettons in connec tion thereaith; and WHEREAS, said Commisalon, after due inspectlon, investigation, aad study mede by itself end in its behalf, and efter due consideratlon of all evidence and ceports offered es said headng, does find and detecmine the following facta: 1. Thet the petitioner requesta e variance from the Aneheim Municipel Code: Section 18.44.010 Which stipulates permitted uses in tk~e C-2, General Commercial, Zone, to permit the use of an existing building on the subject property for light manufacturing and sub-contracting activities including electronic assembly, metal working, and packaging and allied fields, using the elderly and physically handicapped as employees. 2. Thet there ere exceptional or extreordinary clrcumstences or conditions eppliceble to the property involved or to t}~e intended use of the propedy that do not epply geneielly to the propecty or cless of uae in the same vicinity and zone. 3. Thet the requested varience is necessery fot the preservation and enjoyment of a substentlal pmpedy rt~ht posses~ed by other property in the seme vicinity end z~ne, and denied to the property in question. 4. Removal of trees on Claudina Street if it is determined to be necessary by the 5iaperintendent of Parkway Maintenance, 5. Removal and re-construction of the sub-standard and hazardous driveways on Claudina 3treet in accordance with the adopted standard plaas on file in the Office of the City Hngineer. 6. Payment of $2.00 per front foot for street lighting purposes on Claudina Street. 7.
