A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE NO. 1447 BE GRANTED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Meheim did receive a verified Petition for Veriance
from MARIA GARCIA HURTADO, 611 East Chartres, Anaheim, California, Owner; William H. Folsom,
18371 Beach Boulevard, Huntington Beach, California, Agent of certain real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as described in Exhibit "A" or
as follows: Lots 18 and 19, in Block 2 of Santa re Tract, in the City of Anaheim, County of
Oraage, State of Ca2ifclrnia, as per Map recorded in Book 21, Page 49 of Miscellaneous Records,
in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California
; and
WIiEREP,S, the City Planning Commission did hold e public headng et the City Hall in the City of Aneheim
on February 19, 1962 at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said pubiic hearing having been duly given es required
by law and ia accordance with the provisions of the Meheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.6ts, to heac and consider
evidence for and against aeid pcopased variance end to investigate and make findings and cecommendetions in connec-
tion theeew;th; •aed
WHEREAS, seid Coramission, efter due inspection, investigation, and study mede by itself and in its behelf,
and eftee due considezetion of ell evidence and reports offered as eaid hearing, does find end deteanine the following
fects:
1. That the petitioner re~uests a variance from the Aneheim Municipal Code: Section 18 086 0 080 to permit
the construction of a second single family dwelling on subject property with a liveable
floor area of not less than 825 square feet~
2. That there ere exceptional or extreoedinary circumstences or conditions applicable to the property involved
or to the intended use of 4he propedy that do not apply generelly to the pmperty or class of use in the same vicinity
end zone.
3. That the requested verience is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of e substantial propedy right
possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone, end denied to the ptopecty in question.
4. That the requested va:iance will not be meterially detrimentel to the public welfate or injurious to the pmp-
erty or improvements in such vicinity and zone in which the property is loceted.
5. That the cequested variance will not edvecsely affect the Comprehensive General Plen.
6. That it is hereby deemed necessary to waive the requirements of Code, Section
18e32o100 in order to develop the subject property in accordance with Exhibit Noso 1 and
2, thereby permitting access to the proposed garage from Chartres Street, said waiver
permitted under the authority of Section 180640070 of the Anaheim Municipal Codeo
