1. That the petitioner proposes a ceclassificetion of the above described property hom the R-A9 Residential j
Agriculturaly Zone to ~he C-1, NeighborY~ood Commercial, Zone to permit the establishmer.t of
co:nmercial facilities.
2. That the proposed teclessification of subject property .'.~ necessary and/os desirable for the orderly and pro-
per development of the community.

and standard improvement of abutting streets ~ecause sai.d property does relate to and abut
upon streets and highways which are proposed to carry the type and quantity of traffic, which '~i
v~ill be generated by the permitted uses, in accordance with the circul~cion element of the i
General Plan. •
• 5. A request was received from the Orange County f~edical Association for a continuance
of subject petition for thirty days (August 69 1962) to provide the Orange County Medical .
As~ociation, in cooperation wi~h the Hospital Council of Southern California and the Orange~
County Department of Publi~ Health, an opportunity to conduct a joint survey of the hospital
picture ia the Anaheim and surrounding areas, said survey tn include a study of ihe exist-
~ ing hospital facilities, the present population being s~rved by the existing facilities, a
forecast of population growthy and the addit3onal hospital facilities necessary to care for
. the anticipated groivth, as well as the standa~d of hosp:tal care and services being sought
by the p}iysicians, of Orange County. However, it is the finding of the Commission that their
sole concern is the compatibility of land use rather than hospital needs, and that a recommend-
ation is hereby made to the City Council~that the Counc:l hold 'a hearing on subject ;~etition =,,
no earlier 1:han August 7, 1962, so ti,at they migltt Aiave the opportunity to consider the
evidence being prepared by the 9range County Medical Associai;ion. ';
