A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION N0. 62•-63-14 BE DENIED
WHEREAS, *he City Planning Commission of the Ciry of Aneheim did receive a verified Petition for Recle'ssifica-
tion from RAypp INVESTMENT O~b1PANY9 INODRPORATID9 10502 West Katella, Anaheim, California,
Owner of certain real property situated in the City of Maheim, County of Orange, State of
California, as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though set
forth in full
; and
WHEREAS, the City Pianning Commissioa did hold a public heedng at the City Hail in the City of Anaheim on
Auqust 6~ 1962, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said publlc hearing heving been duly given es required
by law end in accordence with the prcvisions of the Meheim Muaicipel Code, Chepter 1E.92,to hear and considerev!-
dence for end ageinat aetd proposed reclessificatioa aad to investigete and make $ndings end recommendetions in
connection therewith: end
WHEREAS, seid Commission, efter due inspection, investigatIon, and study made by itaelf end ia its behelf,
and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, does find ead determine the foliowing
fects:
1. Thet the petitioner proposts a reclassification of We above described pmperty 8om the R-A' Residentidl
Agricultural, Zone to the R•-3, Multiple Family Residential, 2one to develop a garden-type
multiple family planned unit developmenta ~ .
2o That the proposed reclassification of sub~ect property is not necessary and/or
desirable for the orderly and proper development of the communityo
3a That the proposed development would be incompatible to the R~1, Single Family ~
development abutting sub3ect property; and that with the completion of a neighborhood Ci•ty
Park, it is deemed advisable to pro~ect low density homes abutting the proposed neighborhood
park at the southeast corner of Orangewood and Hastero
4. That the Commission had recommended that the north side of Orangewood Avenue should
be the southerly boundary of multiple family developments on the west side of the Citye
5e That seven (7) persons appeared in opposition to sub~ect petitiono
